Druk Expedition

A Mountain Expedition in Nepal is an attraction for those who prefer something more than high adventure trekking. This beautiful country is a paradise that challenges those who wish to conquer a high mountain by foot.

Nepal has more to offer than just the world's highest peak- Mt. Everest. Eight of the world's 14 peaks over 8000m including Mt. Everest (8850m), Kanchenjunga (8586m), Lhotse (8516m), Makalu (8463m), Cho Oyu (8201m), Dhaulagiri (8167m), Manaslu (8163m) and Annapurna (8091m) are located here. It is only from 1949, as far as the history of mountaineering achievements go, that any human tasted success in the Nepalese Himalaya when the team consisting of Bill Tilman, Peter Lloyd and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa scaled Mt. Paldor at 5,928m. Tenzing Norgay went on to become one of the two men, the other being New Zealander Edmund Hillary, to blaze the first ever successful trail to the top of Mt. Everest in 1953.

We provide our clients with all necessary infrastructure to assist you in your summit attempt from arranging the paperwork for Expedition/Climbing permits to organizing the accommodation before and after your Expedition.

Mountain Expeditions in Nepal

Mt. Everest Expedition

The South Col route (southeast ridge) on the Nepal side of Mt. Everest is the way taken by the late Sir Edmund Hillary and the late Tenzing Norgay Sherpa on their first ascent in 1953.

Mt. Dhaulagiri Expedition

This is an enormous Himalaya massif located in north central Nepal. It was first sighted by British surveyors in India in the early 1800s and was considered the highest peak in the world until 1848.

Mt. Kanchenjunga Expedition

This impressive mountain is located on the border of Nepal and Sikkim. It is the most easterly of the great 8,000 m peaks of the Himalayas.

Mt. Lhotse Expedition

Our route to climb this mountain is the normal route or the South Face which is one of the largest mountain faces in the world.

Mt. Makalu Expedition

This is not only a beautiful peak but also a challenging and potentially dangerous climb, as only five of its first sixteen attempts were successful.

Mt. Pumori Expedition

The Mt. Pumori Base Camp can be reached from a Kathmandu to Lukla flight, then a trek via Namche Bazaar, Thangboche, Pheriche and Lobuche. Mt. Pumori is 7145 m high and its ascent starts at 5,300m.

Mt. Baruntse Expedition

Climbers have been most successful in the spring because of safety constraints. However, some climbers have reached its summit in the autumn as well.

Mt. Manaslu Expedition

Manaslu is one of the most popular 8000m. peaks. Climbing Manaslu requires more time than the other peaks in Nepal due to the long approach to reach the base of the mountain.

Mt. Amadablam Expedition

Amadablam is located south of Everest and Lhotse and is renowned for its incredible beauty. Although it is a smaller snowcapped peak at 6812m., it has vertical walls and sharp exposed  ridges.

Mt. Annapurna Expedition

Annapurna IV is considered relatively easier mountain to climb among all the Annapurnas. The normal route is approached from Manang side.
